Infrared thermometers are responsible for taking the temperature of the sick very quickly and without any contact, which makes them key to use them in contagious diseases.

Pulse oximetry is a non-invasive procedure to continuously measure arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2) at the site where the sensor is placed, usually on the finger of one hand.

Photoplethysmography involves applying a light source to one side of the finger (nail) and a receptor to the other side of the finger. Heart rate is determined by counting the voltage spikes.

Using the electrocardiogram, we evaluate the electrical and muscular functions of the heart to evaluate pathologies such as myocardial ischemia, syncope, palpitations, blockages and heart attack.

We use an automatic wrist handle that exists on the market and that we have modified by installing a physical interface that connects through the I2C communication protocol with our device.

Project in development of a portable device to obtain glucose levels using the infrared spectroscopy technique in the mid-infrared MIR and near-infrared NIR regions.
